DIS-KURS is a digital video series on Disability Arts History and Politics and their critical intertwinement with ableism, racism, classism and capitalism.
Two artists/scholars/activists from the US: Leroy F. Moore and Artie Mack were invited to share their knowledge and critique through a video series:
- DIS-KURS on Black Disabled Art History 101 by Leroy F. Moore with Ottis Smith, Keith Jones, Toni Hickman, Ace Berstein, Lateef McLeod, Gabe Wilson and Krystina Jackson
- DIS-KURS on Globalization / Ableism / Monoculture / Removal / Liabilities by Artie Mack
The videos include English and German captions as well as interpretation in German Sign Language (DGS) and International Sign (IS) for Artie Mack’s videos. On this website you can also download transcripts of all videos in English and in German.
